This tutorial was created in psp 8, not that it matters for it can be created in any psp program. This tutorial can be animated if you so desire. Now, do I really need to explain anything regarding rights of use of this tutorial? I think by now we all know copy write rules, if not read a few other tuts they explain it very well. I say..All rights reserved meaning you have no right to copy this tutorial in part or whole to use for another tutorial or for any other purpose. You do have the rights to do as you please with what you create. I give all groups the rights to create from this tutorial without permission. Lets Begin: Open a new image 500 w x 300 h. transparent. Set your foreground materials to gradient, select the gradient autumn_oriental_artc. Style linear, angle 320, repeats 1. Flood fill. Plugins, Fliters Unlimited 2.0, distortion filters, warp vertical, apply. Gaussian blur 21. Plugins, Filters Unlimited 2.0., photo aging kit, cracked paper, reduce intensity to 65. Duplicate the layer. Plugins, Fliters Unlimited 2.0, RCS Fliter pack 1, RCS Digital lens Window Shades II, apply. Take your selections tool, antialias checked, feather 12, rectangle. Select the area as shown below. Selections, modify, expand by 1.
Go to your layers palette, promote selection to layer. Select none. Delete the copy of background layer. Distortion effects, wave. Amplitudes both v and h 1, horizontal wavelength 10, vertical 11. Apply. Layers, duplicate. Image flip. On the layers palette, reduce opacity to 66 on both this layer and the one below it plus change the blend mode to multiply. Open your autumn oriental tree psp image. Copy it, and paste it as a new layer. On the layer palette, change the blend mode to overlay and reduce the opacity down to 66. Open the oriental lady tube, tubed by Hanne, and edit copy, edit paste as a new layer. Move the tube to the left until her arm touches the left, as seen above. Your foreground should still be the gradient, background null. Take your pen tool, vector, point to point, width 5, place a point at 400,0 and 400,299. In the bottom sector of your program you should see where the co-ordinates are. Convert to rastor. Distortion effects, wave, same settings. Add noise, gaussian noise, monochratamatic checked, radius 35. Effects, drop shadow, colour #764006, vert negative 1, horizont 0, opacity 93, blur 5. Apply. Set Foreground to colour #D57F2F, background to #F6F2D9. Take your presets shapes tool, rectangle, line width 2, solid line, create as a vector, retain unchecked, antialias checked, to the right of your wiggly line, draw a rectangle that fits the area leaving some area surrounding. Once your happy with the size, convert to a raster layer. Add the same noise. Then on the layer palette, change the opacity down to 40. Add the same drop shadow, then a second drop shadow changing the vertical to plus 1. Change the foreground colour to the background colour, turn off the foreground colour. We are now going to add text. Select a wide or fat text, vector, I used size 24, anti alialias checked, text alignment center, bold, and typed Thinking of you, type what you desire. Position your text in the center between the girl tube and the wiggly line. Add the same noise twice. Add drop shadow. Type in your name and center over the rectangle you created, you can rotate your name 90 degrees freehand if desired. Add the noise 3 times. Add the same drop shadow. Merge all flatten, add a 2 pixel border using your background colour. Add noise if desired. Lastly, add the watermark. Position in the top left corner. Merge all flatten. If desired, plugins, ulead effects, particles, stars.
